THAT the Minutes of the regular Council meeting of August 23, 2022 be adopted as circulated.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the report titled "Chief Building Official's Activity Report", report number CBO-01-09-2022, for information.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the report titled "Information Report relating to Protect Our Waterways Delegation", report number SBNET-01-09-2022, for information.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the report titled "Fire Rescue Activity Report", report number FD-01-09-2022, for information.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council approves the purchase of the Digital Simulation Fire Education and Training System at the special rate of approximately $26,000.00, including taxes; AND FURTHER THAT Council approves additional funding in the amount of $5,000.00 from the Community Well-Being Fund to supplement the Bruce Power funding in the amount of $10,000.00 and previously approved Community Well-Being funding in the amount of $11,000.00; AND FURTHER THAT Council authorizes the Treasurer to amend the budget accordingly.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council instructs the Treasurer to adjust the 2022 budget to reflect deferring the installation of the Culvert for the Falconer Bridge (Structure 0002).

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the report titled "Activity Report - Water/Wastewater", report number PW-02-09-2022 and attachments for information.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the report titled "Tile Drain Loan", report number DRAIN-01-09-2022, regarding a Tile Drain Loan.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the report titled Administration Activity, report number CAO/Clerk-01-09-2022, for information.

That the Municipality of South Bruce Council authorizes staff to move forward with the Volunteer Appreciation night to be held on November 2nd at the Formosa Hall.

THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council receives the Accounts listing dated September 13, 2022 in the amount of $811,727.11.

THAT the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council:  Teeswater Medical Centre Development Steering Committee - July 25, 2022

THAT the Resolution received by the Municipality of South Bruce Council from the Municipality of Brockton, relating to the deferral of authorization for the reorganization of Westario Power Inc. be received.

THAT the following By-Laws be Read, a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED and numbered as follows: 2022-90 Being a By-law to Impose Special Annual Drainage Rates upon Land in respect of which money is borrowed under the Tile Drainage Act.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Bruce proceed into a Closed Meeting at 6:50 p.m. to discuss: 12.1 A trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial, financial or labour relations information, supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization; and Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (Westario Power Reorganization)

THAT the Council return to “Open Session” at 7:24p.m.

THAT the following By-Law be Read, a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED and numbered as follows: 2022-91 Being a By-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of South Bruce.
